Description
This is an opportunity to acquire this Special Introductory Offer set of 4 Hip Pocket Flexi-Disc Records. Hip Pocket records were 5 inch flexi-disc records created by the Philco-Ford Corporation in 1966. It was hoped that they would revolutionize recorded music for teens as they were more portable and durable than vinyl 45 rpm singles.
This set includes titles by The Doors (Light My Fire / Break On Through), Tommy James (Mirage / I Think We're Alone Now), The Buckinghams (Kind Of A Drag / Lawdy Miss Clawdy) and Neil Diamond (Girl You'll Be A Woman Soon / Cherry Cherry).
BEST OF ALL - the package is STILL SEALED and the discs have never been played.
This Introductory Offer set is the rarest of the Hip Pocket releases and The Doors titles are the hardest to find in the Hip Pocket format.
CONDITION: The packet is still sealed and shows some wear (see photos). The records have never been played. Any questions, just ask!
