Description

Here’s a copy of Little Richard’s first album, entitled “Here’s Little Richard”. While this album remained in print through the 60s and early 70s, most copies are not a true first pressing. This is Specialty number SP 100, from 1957. The LP grades a strong VG, nice gloss, plays with some surface noise, played through with no skips on my record player. These early pressings were made of styrene, a cheaper substitute for vinyl, and were subject to premature wear. The cover has partial seam splits and some fading towards the top of the front cover, but no writing, tape or other problems... displays very nicely! Very hard album to find!!!
