Woah! It's 'Little Richard'... Respect!
An original London Recording from 1963. Matrix 1B/1B. Tax code 'MT'. If you love LR you wanna take a good close look at this copy. It's the closest thing to having the dude sing for you in your living room! The vocal delivery is well into the red! the heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original Robert Stace cover with slim spine. We also have a Decca inner sleeve from the time too.
Vinyl (Ex+) Well, we all know LR had a rep for the vocal... but nothing quite prepares you for the vocal delivery on this record. It's like he's standing next to you hollering. Maybe it's the early copy, or the preservation level - but I've never heard any vocal delivery like this from an LP.. it is way way out there. A beautiful low-mileage copy with precious little signs of use - just some very superficial bag-rash type markings. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Lets just qualify that for a second. That's a full Ex+ consistent from a 1963 pressing. The dynamics on this pressing are way off the scale. I would imagine even well looked after copies might start to reveal issues in some of these LR's vocal passages. But this baby is clean as a whistle. No sign of groove wear at all. Perfect. And that's from 1963.  Audio quality is off the scale - they done a great job. Can't fault it. FINAL UPGRADE.. will beat every copy out there.
Cover (Ex-) Given the vintage this cover is looking pretty dandy. That front is nothing short of luscious - it basically looks new. Think about it... many will fade. Many will crease or show laminate lift. How many are gonna look like this one? Perfectly flat with one miniscule thumbnail crease. The rear has largely avoided the ageing process - just a touch creeping in at the extremities. Very little sign of edge wear and the openings are nice and sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. Wowzer!
Inner (Vg+) A bit aged. Bag still present. No splits.
