Description
Blue Note Records BLP-1584 - Louis Smith - Here Comes Louis Smith LP released in 1958. This is an original first pressing. This is a deep groove pressing, there is a deep indentation under the label on both sides of the record. RVG is stamped in the dead wax, as is the ear symbol. The address on the label (both sides) is 47 West 63rd NYC. The condition of the record is VG, there is a tick causing scratch on the last track on side one. There are scuffs on side one that look horrid but do not affect playback. Side 2 looks and plays VG+. The record plays VG+. The cover is VG+, there is writing on the back and some wear to the leading corners. (The scan of the back cover makes it look as if the cover is ripped, it is not ripped, The image from the scan is messed up. Will try to correct). The address on the back cover is 47 West 63rd St., New York 23. Personnel is Louis Smith, trumpet; Cannonball Adderley ( as Buckshot La Funke), alto sax; Duke Jordan, Tommy Flanagan, piano; Doug Watkins, bass; Art Taylor, drums.
