Lot of 1 Double LP, 2 Vinyl Records, in Original Cover with a Gateway Fold, WB Warner Brothers Records 2WS-2807 PROMO Promotional Not for Sale Radio DJ Only Copy of
Herbie Hancock “Treasure Chest” Dedicated and Autographed in the 1978 while visiting New Orleans and on air with Bobtodd WGSO, my stepfather.
If you notice my listings, I have many promotional or demonstration only not for sale copies of many records, this is why. I have posted pictures inside his home showing an advertisement for his New Orleans Radio Show and I have posted pictures with him with the Monkees, Dionne Warwick, Johnny Nash, Don McLean, and even the Beatles. He has met a large number of extremely awesome and talented musicians, as he has had hundreds of acts, sometimes several times per act, on his shows throughout the 60s and 70s and would sometimes get autographs especially when they asked for his. He is a Hall of Fame Radio DJ in Tennessee (WGOW & WFLI in Chattanooga) and Georgia (WQXI in Atlanta)
We definitely do not want to part with these, as we will be listing several more from many different artists, but life has dictated otherwise. All reasonable offers will be considered, but we are trying to raise money so please understand why we have started the price at where it is and take into consideration the sentimental attachment to these albums.
Condition: the Cardboard cover is in EX Excellent to NM- Near Mint Minus so 6.0 to 7.0 out of 10. The autograph and dedication by Herbie is an absolute pristine condition and both vinyl albums are in X condition and would grade higher but both have superficial slight scratches from play.
The superficial scratches do not affect the quality of the sound of the records.
Shipping: my wife does the shipping and she takes pride in her work, and how well she wraps the albums. They will be in handmade, thick, cardboard cartons.
