Description

  • Very hard to find RCA Victor “Shaded Dog” Living Stereo LP “Henryk Szeryng In Recital” (RCA Victor LSC 2421, 1s/2s Indiana stampers, US pressing), accompanied on piano by Charles Reiner.
  • The tracklist on this 1960 original is: Chaconne In G Minor (Vitali)/The Devil’s Trill (Tartini-transcribed by Fritz Kreisler)/Variations On A Theme By Corelli (Tartini-transcribed by Zino Francescatti)/Melodie (Gluck-transcribed by Fritz Kreisler)/Allegretto (Kreisler-in the style of Boccherini)/Prophetic Bird (Schumann-transcribed by Heifetz)/Danza De La Gitano (Halffter-Heifetz)/Scherzo-Tarantelle (Wieniawski).
  • The LP looks and plays near mint with just some very light occasional surface noise. The cover has no splits, tears, writing or cutouts and shows just some light wear and aging, primarily on the upper seam.
