Description

Charles Singleton was a prolific songwriter, writing giant hits for Frank Sinatra (Strangers in the Night) and Elvis Presley (Spanish Eyes and Trying To Get to You) as well as dozens of hits for other artists.  Here we have a demo of a song he wrote called Help the Poor, that was recorded by BB King in 1964 and has been recorded dozens of times since.  The 10" 78 rpm demo acetate is in nice VG shape with occasional pops, and would probably benefit from a professional cleaning.  No lead sheet with this one.
