Heimo Haitto, violin & Irma Ruuskanen, piano 

Record has some light marks on it but side 1 plays VG+ with some light ticks here and there. In the beginning of side 2 there are some audible ticks and tihs side is a bit noisier. All in all a very enjoyable record!

Cover is VG+ with light ring wear.

This record, super rare in any condition, was recorded in fifties for obscure Star Records. This is one of the rarest violin LP´s, so I think. I´ve been collecting vinyl over 30 years and this is just a second copy I have ever seen - and I live in Finland - and I know only two fellow collectors in Finland who also owns it.

Haitto was a legendary figure in Finland though he lived many years outside of Finland, mainly in US. He recorded only two solo violin LP´s: this 10" in fifties and one 12" in the seventies when he was past of his prime (also pretty rare) for Finnlevy. He recorded also two 7" where he playssome works and speaks about his faith, These two 7" has released together on "Gabriell" EP.

I don´t usually use "reserve price" but this is so special so this time I decided to set a quite reasonable reserve price for this.
