For sale is the Heartbreaker's L.A.M.F. This record was made in the U.K. by Track Records in 1977. Only a few of these exist with the matrix/run out numbers of A//2 and B//2 with "A Porky Prime Cut" etched in the dead wax! A "Porky Prime Cut" etching indicates that this was mastered by the legendary cutting engineer named George Peckham! That makes it one of the rarest records in my collection. I bought this new and put it away until today. It's cover has a few minor corner bends and a hint of ring wear. I graded it as VG+ because it also had stress cracks and color loss on the spine. The Vinyl is mint! Like-new! It comes with the original protective inner sleeve. Like all my records, it's been cleaned with my VPI record cleaner and played on audiophile equipment. This is a classic album and would make a great addition to anyone's collection.
I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection. I'm not a professional grader of records, but will use record guides, as well as my personal experiences as a basis of my grading all records. Since grading is subjective, I will be conservative.
