Culling my Record Collection .. All in Very good Condition.
RARE Single .. 1st Elvis Single in U.K .. Original 1956 record on Purple and Gold Label .. This one has the Jigsaw Centre which allows centre to be removed the replaced. The Centre is intact and never removed .
Record is V.G Excellent .. Visually it is perfect, under a strong light there are just a couple of very very feint marks. There are very few spindle marks, the vinyl looks like new. The story I was told that the original bought it and then stored it away. It does look like it has had only very light play . The sound is crisp and bright, just about silent on run and out...Listen to the video clip, but in real life the sound is much fuller. The record comes with the Original pale yellow paper sleeve, which is in great condition , no rips or major creasing, just a little grubby at opening . Check out the last pic which shows catalogue number and original price of 5s 7d ...Quite expensive in 1956.
