Description

PLEASE READ COMPLETE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING.
Here we have a copy of "Hear the Beatles Tell All" (VJ Records, November 1964). Starting with the disc. The identification that it is an original pressing stems from the fact that the "interview information is above the center hole." Disc and label are both in VG condition, some light spindle marks on the label, disc in fine shape. Now the cover... is it original? I honestly don't know. It's the one the disc came in when first purchased (as a used record). Most clues about the cover imply original (the slick paper has a different texture to my 1979 copy and has a very slight yellowing that implies older than 1979). HOWEVER, on the upper back side there is a wrapped around "stereo" banner. This album was never pressed in stereo and it wasn't until the 1979 "reissue" that covers featured the "stereo" banner (properly placed on the front of course). Next comes the part of the cover just under the banner. It is, for lack of a better description,  "partially torn away." It does not look manually torn. To me, it looks as if the printer may have been at the end of a roll and this was the last full cover it could print before changing paper rolls. If the back cover were complete, as it should be, it would be covering up the bogus "stereo" banner.
Your guess is as good as mine and any intelligent theory as to why this disc is in this cover and why this cover looks the way it does is welcomed. I will happily update the listing if I get credible information. Bottom line: I stand by the disc as being an original, but I can't do the same with the cover. For this reason, the opening bid is crazy low.

GENERAL: I offer combined shipping on multiple wins/purchases but ONLY if you wait for me to issue an adjusted invoice before making payment. Payments by PAYPAL. I try to list more valuable items to end first so that you can add lesser-valued filler items to your purchase with little to no extra shipping. Take this opportunity to fill holes in your collection. I will be listing hundreds of mint and excellent condition Beatles items (as well as other artists) over the next several months.  My opening bids are always under market value and often the lowest on Ebay. Favorite me as a seller and check back every Sunday for new listings.

FEEDBACK:  Your satisfaction as a buyer means a lot to us and everything we sell is guaranteed, but PLEASE, if you have any questions that could avoid a future misunderstanding, ask it in advance of bidding. Your purchases will be professionally packed for shipping. It’s very soul-crushing to hold on to a mint condition record for 40+ years only to have the post office destroy its value in one careless instant.  That’s why we pack really, really well. After we’ve concluded business I promise to leave positive feedback and ask that you (assuming you’re happy with service and product) do too.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: I stopped using the Ebay Global Shipping Program because it’s so expensive (to the buyer).  If you don’t live in the United States and win one or more items, please be patient while we determine and agree on the exact shipping method and costs to your particular corner of the world. For international shipping, we will provide proof of shipping, but if your country’s postal system loses or destroys the item, we are going to consider that out of our hands.
