Description
Katie Webster – “Your Cgheating Heart” b/w “If I Ask You” (Rocko 522). Very scarce release by the Texas born blues / R&b / soul singer on this small lebel out of Crowley, Louisiana features a take on the Hank Williams penned classic. The cuts were recorded in 1959/1960 in Crowley and feature Webster backed by Danny George (piano), Lionel Prevost (aka Lionel Torrence) (tenor sax), Ben Singleton (guitar), Sherman Webster (bass); and Lightnin' Mitchell (drusm). Flip is another good side – take a listen to a little of each. Record is in strong VG+ condition (has a small label tear on flip – see scan). Postage will be paid by purchaser
