ERIC & CARLYN FUNK Love/Truth PRIVATE/UNKNOWN Psych LP - incredible private Portland, Oregon folk/psych concept LP. This copy was mailed to "Manager: Local Radio Station, Deer Lodge, Montana" which is where I found it in an abandoned house. The USPS metered postage is dated January 29, 1973. Side one concept is "Love", Side 2 is "Truth" Original folk/psych compositions are blended with spoken word "philosophies" and poetry. Cannot find anything about this record. Could be one-of-a-kind. In any case, it's obviously very very rare. This is as "private/custom" as you get and it's early 70s Folk/Psych. Bid now cause you're not likely to get the chance again. Looks like the DJ at the Deer Lodge radio station didn't take much interest because the LP looks unplayed, but with some scuff marks from handling/moving over the years. The message of this record was likely too much for Deer Lodge, Montana in the early 1970s. Lucky this copy was tucked away in an abandoned house for a quarter century. This one certainly belongs in a future Acid Archives up-date.

?VISUAL GRADING:
Vinyl - VG/VG+ (glossy and clean but with enough very light marks to hover on VG. plays beautifully all the way through. no marks that can be felt)
Cover - VG (custom cover in overall nice shape, but with a chunk taken out of top left corner and a smaller one taken from upper right)

GRADING:
SS Still Sealed - Never opened.
NM Near Mint - a near perfect, probably unplayed record.
VG+ Very Good Plus - the record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little deterioration in sound quality.
VG Very Good - a well used copy. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages.
VG- Very Good Minus - significant wear and marks and usually quite noticeable surface noise.
