Description
Hawkwind - In Search of Space album on original United Artists label with original intact Hawkwind log. Loft find, unplayed since 1980 at the latest, it was in a box in the corner of my parent's loft and I forgot I had it.
The record itself appears unmarked but I have no means of playing it to test. The labels are nice and clean with just one slight dirty finger print type mark to the B side label which may well wipe away but I will leave that to the buyer.
The inner sleeve is intact although there are a few creases near the corners and a couple of folds on the glued edge.
The cover is gatefold with very little wear, no "circle of death" but there is slight surface wear along a band near the bottom edge of the front and back cover best shown on pic 2 and if you can make it out its level with the UA symbol on pic 5 but I stress it is light although visible. There is also a little wear to the bottom "point" on the cover and the tiniest of tears where that point comes back in on its top edge. You may be able to see this in pic 2 but I am being very picky.
The Hawkwind log is beginning to yellow and has lightly yellowed the inner sleeve where it has been in contact with it. However, the log is clean and has not been written in or marked.
All in all this is a very nice, original record used but not abused. Its not mint but it is tidy and would be a very good addition to anyone's collection.
