Hello.
From my record collection from 1971, I offer you this fully complete package of Hawkwinds 1st ever UK pressing of "In search of Space" in stereo with original 24page log book on 12 inch vinyl LP. It is in Excellent condition overall. With the original EJ Day group ltd. die-cut outer sleeve and UAG 29202 A-1U and UAG 29202 B-1U matrix and 1GO / 1P mother stampers, this is an ultimate 1st press in amazing condition.
Visually, the Vinyl is in great condition, Excellent plus on side A and Excellent on side B. The vinyl retains a fantastic glossy finish with very few hairlines. Side A is visually near flawless but with some noticable hairlines under direct light. Side B also retains it's shiny gloss finish without extensive light hairlines but a number being present. Please look at the pictures as they will hopefully illustrate it's exact visual condition.
Both sides play excellently well with some background noise in quieter sections but all instruments are clear and with near perfect clarity. There is no major unwanted additions here, with light background noise in quieter parts this certainly has no jumps, no sticks, no pops or warps. It a very nice listening experience.
The labels on both sides are Excellent + as they have very few spider trails around the centre hole and a perfect print to the text credits, there is only minor age discolouration only.
The 1st press 24 page Log book is in super condition, Excellent at least. The pages are crisp if just slightly discoloured due to light fading but no missing or loose pages, no tears and perfect centre staples. There are Two punch-holes in the book around the spine area as I used this to file the book safely.
The outer sleeve by EJ Day group ltd. is in excellent condition. The thick card material is sharp and fully intact with no tears. There are extreme,y creases around the perimeter and spine with some rubbing to the corners. The print Excellent plus with near perfect clarity. There is one word written in pen on the front cover.
The inner sleeve is Excellent and crisp with no tears but some discolouration present.
