Description
I have been collecting, playing, (and occasionally selling) vinyl for over 40 years. This album originally belonged to my ex' and has been languishing in my collection for many years, I've decided it's time for it to find a new home!
Laminated sleeve in very nice condition, a little feathering of the opening edge, a few creases on the front by the spine which is solid and legible, minimal corner wear (see pics)
The record has been in storage for a good few years and has now been professionally cleaned in a state of the art ultrasonic record cleaning machine and placed in a brand new archival protective inner.
'Coloured twins' labels are clean however there are some spindle lines on side two seen under bright light.
Playing surfaces (examined under bright oblique light source) the lightest of sleeve removal lines and scuffs, nothing of any note, definitely no obvious scratches.
Play test: Side one has a little surface noise in quieter phases and the occasional light tick, nothing obtrusive or detrimental to the listening experience. Side two suffers more with surface noise; bizarrely this is only really apparent as track one fades out and into the quiet first part of track 2, lasting in total about 2.5 minutes, the worst of it being the 30 seconds of fade out. Given how well the rest of the record plays I can only think this is a pressing fault. If you can put up with this short spell of surface noise it's a really nice playable copy.
