A very unusual find here...while Folkways did do some color vinyl, finding another example of this tobacco color swirl style has been very hard. I contacted an archivist at Smithsonian Folkways about it after not being able to find any information on it on my own. He was very helpful...he pulled the production file on the LP and found there is no mention of a run of colored vinyl and that all of the examples of this LP in their collection were black vinyl only. He also said that he had never seen ANY Folkways album in this color, and that this was a real curiosity.
I am NOT a professional record grader, but I can tell you the LP looks to be in fantastic shape. The color makes it somewhat hard to judge, but holding it up to the light I can't see any scratches on it.

Harry K. McClintock, better known as Haywire Mac, was a well-known busker often seen and heard in the hobo jungles, union halls, and wherever Wobblies had occasion to gather in their struggles. In the mid-1920s he was a radio entertainer and cut some phonograph records which are collector's items today.
