I've listened to it and it sounds SUPERB - the vinyl looks perfect - all four discs! You can tell the LP has been carefully cared for 54 years. The vinyl is very glossy and shiny - no scuffs, no scratches at all.

Belafonte at Carnegie Hall is a live double album by Harry Belafonte. It is the first of two Belafonte Carnegie Hall albums, and was recorded on April 19 and April 20, 1959. This stereo version of the album was released on the RCA Victor label, in the "Living Stereo" series. The concerts were benefits for The New Lincoln School and Wiltwyck School, respectively.

This is the original 1959 U.S. STEREO pressing. This album has a wonderful gatefold, fold out cover. There are no splits, no bumped corners, no tears. Look at the photos - it's an original, thick American style cardboard cover.

This is the original, authentic, first U.S. pressing; this is not a reissue, an import, or a counterfeit pressing. It has clean, wear-free labels.

The cover is in great shape as with slight ring wear on the front side, very slight ring wear on back cover on left amd right sides. Look at the photos!

About Harry Belafonte

Harold George "Harry" Belafonte, Jr. (born March 1, 1927) is an American singer, songwriter, actor and social activist. He was dubbed the "King of Calypso" for popularizing the Caribbean musical style with an international audience in the 1950s.

Belafonte is perhaps best known for singing "The Banana Boat Song", with its signature lyric "Day-O". Throughout his career he has been an advocate for civil rights and humanitarian causes.

As of April 2008, the tracks in green are only available on releases in Germany and Japan. The album was nominated for Album of the Year at the 1961 Grammy Awards.

"Mint" (M-): This is the highest grade for a records that has been played. The album is in excellent condition and shows almost no visible signs of wear or damage that will affect sound quality. Perhaps a very slight pop or tick, but almost perfect.
"VG++": The condition is very good, but there may be slight ring or cover wear, the cover may have minor seam splitting or the vinyl may have light visual marks. There could be slight surface sound. 
"VG+": The LP vinyl may have light scratches or other visual blemishes, but should play through without skipping or repeating. Light surface noise and/or crackle may be present. Covers may have moderate ring and/or edge wear, cut-outs / hole punches, or a moderate seam split. We only sell this grade when it's a rare record - otherwise, these go to the thrift store!
"Good" and below: We consider any item graded at or below "Good" as something you don't want and we won't offer! The sound quality is low and the cover may be in very poor shape. We only offer albums rated VG and above unless a record is so rare that its presence in the collection transcends the poor quality of the vinyl or cover.
