Harold McNair-Indecision/The Hipster(RCA 1742)1968 Ok here it is the legendary super rare British jazz single from flautist Harold McNair!the man himself is synonomous with all things British especially within jazz,as well as appearing on a ridiculous ammount of progressive and rock lp's throughout the sixties and seventies.Here he is flying his own flag and working his way through two swinging jazz numbers-all with his distinctive brand of breathy flute work.With the ever increasing interest in all things British ie jazz,it's a real one off to stumble across items such as this -firstly due to it's rarity and above all the musical prowess of the content within.This single typifies the genre in it's incentive and genreal suggestion a combination of sweeping melodies ,uplifting flute all bound together with the unique classic recording techniques -full bodied yet spacious.Records of this calibre are few and far between and are genreally held in high regard due to the previously mentioned factors thus creating a worldwide demand within collectors of many genres.
