Description

This is the original RVG-stamped deep-groove "P"-pressing of Hank Mobley Sextet on the West 63rd Street labels of Blue Note BLP 1560. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with just a single small mark in the middle of "Fit For A Hanker" that is audible for one tic. The laminated cover has the West 63rd St., New York 23 address; nearly immaculate front and back with normal age toning; sharp corners and perfect seams. Personnel includes Donald Byrd, John Jenkins, Wilbur Ware, and "Philly" Joe Jones.
