Description

Hank Mobley and his All Stars Blue Note 1544 mono RVG and ear in dead wax both sides 47 West 63rd Street NY 23. This is an original pressing in VG- condition and the reason is although there are a lot of light needle like and erasure looking surface marks on LP one of them can be felt to the finger, it is not a bad one but for an expensive record such as this I will go overboard as to describe condition as this is being sold AS IS and they are no returns for condition related issues. That being said the record has one feelable small scratch on Side one during the tune Ultramarine as Hank is starting his solo and the sound of a light pop can be heard for about a minute the other surface marks cannot be felt and do not affect play. This will be rated as VG- for Side 1 and VG for Side 2. It is not often that original pressing NY 23 Hank Mobley records turn up so here is your choice to own a slightly flawed copy of 1544. Milt Jackson, Horace Silver, Doug Watkins and Art Blakey the band and grab this one now, please bid if as high as possible it cost me a bunce simply because it is an original pressing. The cover is a strong VG with edge wear and no writing but light age spotting. Let's see how high this can go with a low opening bid. Again VG- Side one due to a small scratch on the tune Ultramarine Tune 2 of Side 1, Side 2 has light surface marks and plays very well with no skips or pops and is VG Side 2. Original RVG, ear and deep groove NY 23 pressing. See photos and bid often.
