BLUE NOTE VINYL 1966 STEREO PRESSING!
Seldom seen in UK auctions (especially in this condition) is this beautiful STEREO PRESSING from 1966 of Hank Mobley's classic, The Turnaround! (Blue Note BST 84186). I have fully play-tested the vinyl, so my grading is based on how the record actually sounds, as well as how it looks.
Vinyl is graded in Excellent condition, with very slight crackle on the run-in but a nice quiet soundstage throughout. All characteristics of the 1966 All Disc stereo pressing are present (see Discogs link below) - this was one of the earliest post-Plastylite pressings, with Blue Note still using up their old labels, inner sleeves & covers, and the VAN GELDER stamp essentially makes this an original Blue Note in everything but the ear (All Disc had the original RVG metalwork and were producing cuts of virtually equivalent quality to Plastylite). The audio is a real treat - I picked this up from a larger collection of audiophile-grade records so there is minimal background crackle, and the vinyl is visually in great condition.
The laminated, dimpled cover is also graded in Excellent condition, due to slight discolouring on the cover which can be seen in the photos. However, it is structurally sound and otherwise in superb condition - and with another iconic Blue Note cover design.
Original 1966 inner sleeve also included.

Note that I separate the vinyl from the outer sleeve for postage to prevent seam splits. I use thick cardboard stiffeners and take great care in my packaging to ensure as far as possible that these records reach their destination in exactly the same condition as when they leave me, and in the way I'd like to receive them.
