Description
This is Detroit R&B singing group The Midnighters (formerly known as The Royals) singing "Work With Me Annie" on Federal 12169 from 1954. This classic R&B record looks VG+ with moderate surface markings but plays in NM condition and comes in a Federal Records company sleeve. The picture sleeve is a custom sleeve that is in MINT condition. These sleeves are made in Canada or England and are one-off sleeves that are NOT mass produced. This item comes in a clear, resealable, poly-vinyl protective sleeve with a cardboard backer separating the record from the picture sleeve. Please note that this is the rarer pressing that lists the artists as The Midnighters (formerly known as The Royals) and is on the silver top Federal label. Price guides suggest a valuation of $100.00 for this rarer pressing. Subsequent pressings leave out the reference to The Royals and are on an all green label. Because of the VG+ rating on this copy, you can own this one at a fraction of the price guide valuation.
