Description
You are bidding for an extremely unique and one-off hand painted TRAVIS BARKER canvas signed by Travis Barker. Travis' former bands include The Aquabats, Blink 182, Box Car Racer , The Transplants and is currently drumming in Plus 44.
I am an Illustrated Art University Graduate and a massive Travis Barker fan. Having painted this canvas 2003 i took it to London's Carling Academy for Blink 182's February 11th gig to be signed by the man himself. After much hanging around outside the back entrance all three members of Blink, including Travis, came out and signed autographs for the 50 or so people waiting outside prior to the gig itself. He was very polite and more then happy to pen his names on my various hand-outs.
The canvas features Travis' face characature taken from Blink 182's 'The Mark, Tom and Travis Show' album and has been hand painted in fine acrylic colours. The signature has been penned in permanent red marker. For a closer and more detailed look please see the photos below.
I have included personal photos and the ticket stub from the gig itself as further proof of items authenticity *Please note these photo's and stub do NOT come with the canvas*
The canvas measures a cool 14' x 10' and 1.5' in depth.
The item is is perfect condition, mainly due to the fact it has been in storage for 2 years, and is ready to hang on any wall.
This will be a highly popular item, more so since Blink 182's split and subsequent formation Travis' (and Mark Hoppus') new band Plus 44.
