Description
For sale is an original pressing of Baldwin Soul by Hal Vincent, AD-Rhythm Records ARPS-3003, England, 1971.
This album was produced to showcase the Baldwin Organ.
The album is full of incredible organ funk, sounding much like The Mohawks, but with a more soulful feel.
Although Hal looks like your old maths teacher on the front, do not underestimate his keyboard grinding skills! Standout tracks are "Soul Strip", "Finger Sauce", "Ode to Billy Joe" and "Heavy Spaceman". As good an Hammond funk album that you are ever going to get!!!!
Listen to a sound clip from the actual record. Turn the volume up on the player as it defaults to low volume!!!
Note: This is unlikely to play on a smart device unless you have flashplayer.....Listen on your desktop or laptop!!!
CONDITION OF COVER > VG+(General wear and pen on back cover)
CONDITION OF MEDIA > VG+ (Some light surface marks. Background noise on quieter passages)
I have been selling records for well over 13 years and I like to err on the side of caution when it comes to grading. Please check my feedback and you will see that I am an honest seller in every sense!
MY GRADING IS AS FOLLOWS:- G / VG /EX/ NM , WHERE A + OR A - DENOTES FURTHER INDICATION OF CONDITION.
GET THIS ALBUM WHILE YOU CAN!!!!
