AUDIOPHILE CLOSET CLEANING SALE.

I WILL BE CLEANING OUT MANY ITEMS THAT HAVEN'T SEEN THE LIGHT OF DAY FOR YEARS.

"Wish You Were Here"

(CBS Records HC 33453) (U.S.) (1980)

This is a particularly special copy because it was an early misprint.

The jacket was printed with the catalog number of HC 33453 from the regular non-audiophile pressing. 

Second variation copies had a sticker placed over it to change the number to HC 43453, and then eventually they printed third variation copies with the correct number on the jacket.  

The label on the record also has the wrong number. Later copies corrected that as well.

The record is in nice condition with no marks or scratches. A few streaks can be seen where fingers touched the vinyl There are no spindle marks on the labels. The jacket is intact with no splits or tears. A smudge mark is in the upper left corner from where a sticker was removed and some light ring wear is visible. The original outer bag is included that has the robot hands sticker still attached.  There is no postcard but the technical sheet on Mastersound records is included.

It has been professionally cleaned on a VPI-27 Typhoon record cleaning machine and then again on a KL Audio Ultrasonic record cleaning machine.

It has been play tested and found to play beautifully with just the occasional light tick like you would expect from dust.  Not a perfect copy, but a perfect copy for someone that actually wants to listen to it instead of a museum piece.  What a concept!
