Hagerty Toth Band - Qalgebra test pressing (Three Lobed)
You are bidding on a rare, one-of-a-kind and unplayed test pressing of the Hagerty Toth Band’s Qalgebra LP--originally released in a limited edition on Three Lobed Records in 2015--with a hand-designed sleeve by band member James Toth.
This will be a 5-day auction so that Neil can receive the money as soon as possible.
Neil Hagerty, founding member of the groundbreaking band Royal Trux, was arrested after an unfortunate encounter with Denver Police on April 14th, following a welfare check. It is important to note that Neil has been struggling with mental health issues for a long time and this concerning incident highlights the urgent need for Mr. Hagerty to receive proper mental health treatment.
Everyone involved with the Royal Trux is deeply concerned about Neil's well-being and now his legal defense. Please help us get him to get the support and care he needs to recover and get back on track. Neil has never encountered this kind of trouble, but over the years his mental condition has intensified especially over the pandemic.
We know that Neil is an incredibly talented musician who has brought joy and inspiration to countless fans over the years. We believe that he deserves to get the help he needs to overcome his struggles and get back to doing what he loves.

While I do not possess 1% of Neil’s talent in the realm of visual art (Neil designed the beautiful original cover art and sleeve for this album), I hand-designed this sleeve especially and exclusively for this auction and there will only ever be one such copy. The original test pressing was issued to me by the label, Three Lobed, and has been in my possession since 2015.
This rare item would be a great addition to the collection of any fan of Royal Trux, RTX, Black Bananas, Pussy Galore, Weird War, Drag City Supersession, or the Howling Hex. Most of all, by bidding you are helping one of underground music's most innovative and visionary artists get back on his feet.
