Description

Human Arts Ensemble "Under the Sun" Only 1000 copies of this lp pressed. From 1973, each side is one long track, one is 22 minutes long, the other is 26 minutes long. These are the same cats who did the "Funky Donkey" lp, this lp is every bit as great. Players include Lester Bowie, Oliver Lake, Charles Bobo Shaw, Abdallah Yakub and Kwame Graham on electric piano. Ranging from spiritual, to funky, to free improv this one has it all and delivers. Fans of the Tribe and Strata East labels, Sun Ra, The Pharoahs, The Pyramids, Pharoah Sanders, Khan Jamal etc etc.. take note. Record is in EX cond. The cover is in VG cond. due to some light ringwear and the upper left hand corner is worn. ~ Thank you for looking and be sure to check out my other record auctions up this week.
