Automatic Midnight, the debut album by San Diego's influential post-hardcore band Hot Snakes.

This release was a collaboration between Swami Records (SWA 2002) and

Sympathy for the Record Industry (SFTRI 602). Automatic Midnight marked the beginning

of Hot Snakes, a project initiated by John Reis during a hiatus from Rocket From the Crypt.

Collaborating with drummer Jason Kourkounis and vocalist Rick Froberg, the album

delivers a raw, energetic sound that blends garage rock intensity with post-hardcore precision.
