This record is so great, so HOT, that listening to it actually gave me chills. Outstanding and RARE Red HOT Jazz by these New Orleans boys recording in Chicago, far from home. I have heard many performances of these tunes by later bands but none of those performances, fine though they were, could come anywhere close to the energy and sheer joy of this recording.
