HORACE SILVER QUINTET – SILVER’S BLUE – EPIC LN 3326 – VG+ - MONO
There are two sessions on this LP. On SIDE ONE: SILVER’S BLUE and I’LL KNOW feature Donald Byrd (tp), Hank Mobley (ts), Horace Silver (p), Doug Watkins (b) and Art Taylor (d), recorded on July 17, 1956. On TO BEAT OR NOT TO BEAT and HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN GOING ON features Joe Gordon (tp), Hank Mobley (ts), Horace Silver (p), Doug Watkins (b) and Kenny Clarke (d), recorded on July 2, 1956. SIDE TWO: SHOUTIN’ OUT features the personnel on July 2, 1956 and HANK’S TUNE and THE NIGHT HAS A THOUSAND EYES feature the personnel on July 17, 1956.
I’ve rated this LP as VG+. There is a mark on cut #2 of Side One and cut #2 on Side Two, but they do not interfere with play. Outside of that, the surface of the vinyl is clean. There are some marks on both sides of the spindle hole. The cover is in excellent condition, with the exception of a small taped seam on the right top on the LP cover. There is some wear on the cover but it is negligible. This is a Mono recording. If you have any questions, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks.
