Description
Carron
Matrix: ED 387
Rated as "Essential" by Steve Barrow in The Rough Guide to Reggae, this is the original U.S. vinyl issue. Andy is at his best and suported by dream band that includes Augustus Pablo, Leroy Sibbles, Touter Harvey, Noel Alphonso, Horsemouth Wallace, Tommy McCook, Vin Gordon -- and the great Jah Privy from the Soul Defenders. Per Barrow, "a recut of 'Fever' stands comparison with the original, while the title track, 'Problems' (not the lyrics he recorded for Santic) and 'Government Land' are simply awesome." Produced by Everton DaSilva and issued in 1977.
Vinyl grades VG+++* (EXCELLENT PLUS), with high gloss and very mild signs of handling. Cover has mild ring, corner and edge wear. Nothing major. Labels have a small stain around the spindle hole on one side (see photos below).
