TITLE/INFO: I'll be listing more old and rare 45's over these next few weeks/months, as well as more early '50's-'60's EP's and LP's, so if you have interest in great conditioned "oldies" please continue to check in on my site - and thank you in advance. Today, I turn to some of my rare C&W 45's and 45's with picture sleeves. This early record by the popular C&W, comedy song artists, Homer and Jethro is on the rather obscure (to me anyway), pink colored Kasey label from 1962. I don't know where this label came from, nor where it ever ended up, but it is here in bright pink and with a neat picture sleeve, too. The song titles are "Rye Whiskey/Boll Weevil" and this 45 is in truly excellent condition - as is the neat picture sleeve - but please check out all the pictures and read on for more info. LABEL INFO: This Kasey label (7028) is in great overall shape with no serious flaws at all - not even any spindle lines around the center circle. I think it's quite possible this 45 has never been played - although I don't know that for certain. VINYL INFO: Yes, the vinyl is also super clean and nice and very close to perfect as well - really! It certainly was not played very much - if even at all. PICTURE SLEEVE: The hard to find black and white picture sleeve - with neat old pictures of Homer and Jethro - is basically in great shape, too. There are no real serious flaws although there are two easily removable staples still intact at the very bottom of the sleeve and just a few small wrinkle/crease lines in a couple of places - but, in my opinion, none of this is too serious at all. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, this neat Homer and Jethro 45/PS is in excellent to near mint shape and would make a very nice addition to anyone's early C&W collection. The vinyl here is nearly perfect and the neat picture sleeve is pretty darn good as well. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are $18.00 for the 1st 45 and then just $3.00 per 45 after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records  that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services.
