Here's yet another classic collection of film performances (vocals, comedy skits, other) by nearly two dozen female stars on 19 selections. Marilyn Monroe does a comedy skit with Charlie McCarthy (Edgar Bergman), Marlene Dietrich sings a duet with Bing Crosby--in French, Vivien Leigh is heard with Lawrence Olivier in a scene from "Private Lives," Alice Faye sings a medley of film songs, Ingrid Bergman is heard in an Oscar acceptance speech, Carole Lombard, Betty Grable, Martha Raye and Ann Sothern each sing a selections. And that's only Side One. Side Two continues with selections by Bebe Daniels, Dorothy Lamour, Bette Davis, Greer Garson, Lana Turner and more. The LP was released by Star Tone Records (ST-205), a Limited Edition for Collectors, and is graded near MINT--LP and cover.

WHY SHOULD YOU BUY FROM ME???

With so many selling on line these days, it's tough to decide who to buy from. Feedback ratings certainly tell part of the story. But I think you'll find me a little different. FIRST, I primarily sell vintage vinyl ALL from my own personal collection. As a fomer disc jockey, I learned how to handle vinyl--via the label and then record edges--keeping fingers and hands off the music tracks. Therefore, MOST LPs are offerred as Excellent to Near MINT, particulalry when I acquired the item new. In some cases, however, I added used records to my collection, but was particular in not accepting anything below VG to VG+ (with the possible exception of very rare items).
