Description

Klemperer conducts Weber, Humperdinck, Gluck.; Klemperer conducting The Philharmonia Orchestra; HMV SAX 2417. Beautiful first-label pressing. 20 repeating very soft tics in right channel at beginning of “Hansel and Gretel” on Side 1; 6 repeating very soft tics at beginning of “Hansel and Gretel” Dream Pantomime on Side 1; otherwise LP plays very quietly.  Yellowing on the white background in the photos is an artifact of the scanning process.   NOTE: Smudges, streaks, scratches, dust, etc . visible in some of the images are on the scanner glass surface, NOT on the actual LP(s) or album jackets.
