HMV ASD 323/4 EW1 White & Gold IOLANTHE Gilbert & Sullivan SARGENT 1959
One of many quality ORIGINAL classical recordings MAINLY UK FIRST PRESSINGS I will be listing over the coming days all from a SUPERB ONE OWNER COLLECTION purchased new in the "Golden Age" 1950s-60s. I have acquired the collection direct from the gentleman's widow - they were bought from new, mostly PLAYED ONCE on highest quality equipment and recorded on reel to reel and then ARCHIVED away. Hence most of the vinyl in this collection is unmarked and just like new. I will point out any flaws (should there be any) as I individually list each one.
This one is HMV ASD 323/4 (twin record set), original white & gold EW1 label, 1959 on rear cover. Original liner sleeves in super condition. The labels are in excellent condition. Outer sleeve are excellent with just one small date neatly inscribed to top back of each (record 1 has very small bit of flipback missing). The vinyl is near mint, looking like only been played one or two times MAXIMUM. A great twin copy - no final upgrade needed with this one.
