MINT...............Most probably unplayed, should give perfect  reproduction. Such a record will have a perfect shiny surface without the slightest blemish or mark on the playing surface.

NEAR MINT.....Very close to the above but may have a few spindle marks and has probably been played but extremely well looked after.

EXCELLENT....Record may have a few slight surface marks most should be inaudible except perhaps on some high end equipment. The record may have some spindle marks or  have a slightly dull surface. As with all vinyl there could be some background noise.

VERY GOOD....Some audible marks or scuffs  but the record will be playable.

NEAR MINT.....Cover nearly as new.

EXCELLENT....Cover may have a little age wear or some blemishes. corners may be burred.possibility of writing on rear from previous owner.

GOOD..............Cover will have age discolouration, wear etc.
