Description
Up for auction at NO reserve is "Hi-Fi a la Espanola", a lovely mixed program of material performed by the Eastman-Rochester "Pops" Orchestra under the baton of Frederick Fennell. This is the most coveted of the legendary Mercury Living Presence Series, catalog # SR90144. Please view my other auctions for more great LPs in this legendary series. The "FR 1" LP is NM-. The only thing keeping it from NM is what looks like a fingerprint, but you can only see it at certain angles. I test played through this section on a high-end turntable and there was no noise because of this mark. (Sorry for the long description about nothing, but I want the bidders to know how nice this copy is.) The "color-back" cover is NM- with just a few light spots of foxing on the back cover. The lovely front artwork displays great with blazing lustre. Email with questions or if you need more specific info.
Most of the Mercury LPs I am currently selling have a slight mustiness to them which really only presents itself when they are removed from their sleeves. This should clear itself up over time. All items are packed in dedicated record mailers with sturdy cardboard inserts by a former record collector. Shipping for this one is $6.00 via Priority Mail with delivery confirmation in the lower 48 or Airmail to Canada. $11.00 Airmail to Europe and the UK, $13.00 to my friends and customers in the Pacific. Multiple winners will be combined and pay actual shipping costs. Buy a bunch and save. I will not ship surface rate overseas as it takes too long and too many packages get lost or destroyed.
