Description

HI-FI PICK:
Slatkin ESPANA! –
Capitol Side-Logo SP8357 Original –
RARE!

Very colorful performances from Felix Slatkin and The Hollywood Bowl Symphony Orchestra, here recorded “open air” in the Hollywood Bowl.

Great selections include BOLERO, CAPRICCIO ESPAGNOL, ALBORADA DEL GRACIOSO, and TRIANA from IBERIA.

The side-logo heavy-platter original: In a cover without major fault, just a small chip in the top seam; record inside will play near mint.

A wonderfully spacious sound, with great definition and breadth of stage. (Just find the right volume level in your listening room.)

For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $16 via airmail for the first LP, $4 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
