Description
This is an overall fine copy from a numbered, limited edition 1995 Austrian reissue of the rare sole LP by Hickory Wind, originally released in 1969. The Indiana group play a mix of rock, pop, and country on the record. One of the LP's best tracks, the fuzz rocker "Time and Changes," was revamped a couple of years later when the band recorded a second LP for the RCA label under their new name, B.F. Trike. (That LP remained unreleased until the late 1980s.) This release was the first to reissue the LP in any format. The record comes in a thin pocket folder-style jacket. It has light creasing in the corners and some gouging in the front cover from where the jacket was used as a backing -- EX(+). The disc has three bands and one patch of off-gassing on side 1 that cause light hissing through the first and much of the second track (see photo for an example). It is otherwise clean, and plays with some light surface noise from the source disc -- overall VG+. This copy is #289/300.
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
