I'm pleased to offer to you a scarce signed LP, The Best of HERMAN'S HERMITS, autographed by all members on the inner white sleeve.This LP in gatefold cover is #E-4315 produced by MGM in 1965; a Mickie Most Production, Manufactured by Reverse Producers  Corporation.

All the signatures and inscriptions are "To Gayle". Written on the top edge of the inside front cover is "Gayle Johnson .. No. 1 album of Herman's Hermits".

Herman (Peter Blair Dennis Bernard Noone) has signed in the lower center of the sleeve "To Gayle, Love Herman XXX". Surrounding his signature are all the others:

My photos show the titles of all tracks, including I'm Henry VIII, I Am, Mrs. Brown, You've Got a Lovely Daughter, and more. I've also included a photo of the back cover, of Peter Noone and excerpts from the inside cover. The inside cover includes 8 b/w photos and Notes by June Harris in which she offers some interesting facts about how the group was formed, how they handle their exhausting schedule, what they do for fun and what they like about the United States.

I purchased this LP at a local thrift store a few years ago. In my hurried buying, I didn't bother to check the condition of the LP before I purchased it; so it wasn't until much later when I wanted to play it that I realized the sleeve was signed. At that time I did some research and decided to my satisfaction that they were valid signatures.

It's sure to be a nice addition to any Herman's Hermits collection!!

CONDITION: Cover is good; lightly scuffed with some corner wear and ring wear on back side and a spliit at the top foredge (see last photo). Inside cover is lightly tanned in the margin; otherwise clean except for penned note mentioned earlier. LP is near mint. Inner sleeve has small closed tear in bottom edge, lightly tanned around the edges; otherwise very good.

We only use new or gently used packing materials .. never used grocery bags, newspaper or boxes from a dumpster ... all fragile items are double-boxed.

Shipping options are shown below. We strive to offer the most economical options and the lowest handling charge possible. Free Delivery Confirmation is provided for all domestic shipments except for those mailed by First Class in small flat envelopes (postcards, maps, etc). If you prefer Delivery Confirmation for those items, please choose the Priority Mail option. Insurance is required for all fragile shipments and optional (at additional cost) for all other merchandise.

Priority Mail is preferred for fragile shipments because of the shorter travel and handling time. By offering the Priority Mail option we do not imply that your order will be shipped immediately; it only implies that the transit time will be quicker.

Instead of charging fixed rates for S&H, we offer the use of a USPS Shipping calculator which uses the package weight and destination zip code to calculate the shipping cost. Calculated shipping means that a buyer who happens to live nearby doesn't have to pay the same rate as one who lives thousands of miles away. The Postal Service does offer a Flat-Rate option for items which will fit in certain size boxes.But the shipping calculator cannot take that into consideration. Therefore, the S&H cost for any item which can be shipped Flat Rate will be $9.50 maximum. For example, a book which weighs 3 lbs., sent to the West cost, will cost $11-$13 per the calculator; but since it will fit in a Flat Rate box it can actually be shipped for only $9.50. We try to note in the auction description whether or not the item will qualify for Flat Rate shipping, but if you have any questions please feel free to email. We may have to adjust the S&H charge on the Checkout before you pay.

Yes, we do charge a nomimal handling fee in an effort to recoup some of the expense of purchasing clean packing materials. This fee will be included in the Shipping Options so you'll know the total cost before you bid or make a purchase. Although the Post Office furnishes free boxes for Priority Mail, other boxes & padded envelopes for First Class Mail, Media Mail & Parcel Post must be purchased. The average cost of a box to ship a book in is $.78, padded envelopes are $.34, and bubble wrap & packing peanuts are also costly. Compare these prices at any office suppply store. Since the items we sell do not include enough profit to cover these costs, we add a small amount to each transaction. If you consider this policy to be unfair, please shop around and make your purchase elsewhere.

Orders are shipped in the order they are received. By offering Combined Shipping, we cannot start packaging your order until the auction ends or an eBay store inventory item has been purchased. Most orders are shipped within 3-5 days of receipt of PayPal payments and within 10 days of receipt of mail payments. We will try to accomodate requests for RUSH orders.

INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS are urged to email for exact S&H cost. The recent rate increases by the Postal Service have drastically increased the cost of shipping overseas. They have condensed the shipping options to include only: First Class for items weighing less than 4 lbs (no insurance available), Priority Mail for items over 4 lbs (some insurance included), and Express Mail. Many restrictions regarding size and weight have been implemented.
