HERBIE NICHOLS TRIO ORIGINAL BLUE NOTE PRESSING BEAUTIFUL CONDITION

Description

Beautiful rare copy of the original Blue Note pressing of Herbie Nichols' Trio album. Label pics included. More pics available, send me a message with your email.

Vinyl itself is VG++, clean with a few light sleevemarks, but I grade conservatively. Sleeve is a solid VG+, extremely nice for it's age. One small, very minor split in the top spine (3/4" at most) that does not go all the way through to the stock so it doesn't affect functionality at all, just be gentle.

Clarification of a few things, the record has the following:

Handwritten "RVG", "9M", and the plastylite "p" symbol in the dead wax

A flat edge

No "inc" or registered "R" in the Blue Note label.

Lexington address matches both the pressing & jacket.

Not an overly apparent deep groove, it's more pronounced on side 1

I realize there is much debate over these "standards" but from my research on this particular pressing I cannot find any other later pressing it matches. Yes, I know Liberty used the original labels in later pressings, but again, research it yourself. You'll be hard pressed to find an alternate pressing it matches. I'm not looking to scam anyone.

You will pleasantly surprised by the condition.   I couldn't believe it myself, but I've enjoyed my time with it and need to give it a new home.

I sell records full time as my job. You can check out my experience/feedback on DISCOGS under seller: fmbrecords2.

This is from my private collection.

I know how to box and ship at a professional level. Domestic & International buyers are welcome. Shipment will be insured.
