Description
This auction is for HERBIE HANCOCK - TAKIN' OFF blue note records blp-4109 The glossy laminated cover for this release is vg+ looks great. The front is clean with no writing or tears. There is a sticker on the front promoting the hit single. The top, bottom and left spine are solid and look great. There is a very small split at the lower left corner this is very small. The rear is clean and crisp. There is a tear to the upper left corner where some paper is now missing. The tear just ends at the H in High Fidelity and there is a pen written number just beneath this. Overall a very nice cover that looks just great and does have the 43 west 61st St address. The record is vg+ real nice shape. There is a beautiful full gloss to the record and it really shines. Under bright light a very light scuff and some extraction marks can be seen to the B side these are minor and this is much closer to a vg++. The record does have some light spindle marking to the labels. The playback on this is a solid vg++ and will not disappoint just plain killer sound. The record does have the ear or "P" to the dead wax as well as the van gelder stamp.
