HERB POMEROY "JAZZ IN A STABLE" LP - On TRANSITION Records, #TRLP-1. Extremely rare MONO pressing from 1956. Thick FLAT EDGE vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover. The personnel: Herb Pomeroy/trumpet; Varty Haroutunian/tenor sax; Ray Santici/piano; John Neves/bass; James Zitano/drums. The vinyl is in VG++ condition (beautiful gloss, some small hairlines). The thick laminated jacket is in excellent shape, displays wonderfully. Has producer Tom Wilson's liner notes printed on the back cover. Small part of top seam taped very discreetly. There are NO cut-out marks, NO bends and creases, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking. The songs are: It Might As Well Be Spring; Honey Bunny; Moten Swing; Porta Desks And Tuxedos; One Bass Hit; Black Coffee; Taboo; Off Minor; Sweet And Lovely; Ray's Idea; Dear Old Stockholm.
