Henryk Szeryng - J. S. Bach 3 Sonates et 3 Partitas 3x LP Box Set Original french pressing on Odeon. ODX 122 / 123 / 124 Autographed and dedicated to the portuguese Duques de Lafões (Dukes of Lafões), dated Christmas 1959.
Records play in an overall solid VG condition. Sound quality has no major signs of deterioration but, unfortunately, some sides have some scratches. Needle never jumps nor skips but some clicks are heard. These records were stored for several years so some light background is heard in some parts but never over the music. Requires a professional cleaning session.
-ODX 122:
Side A plays in solid VG. Sound is loud and clear and most of the time is clean. A small scratch (2mm) at the end of "Adagio" makes some light clicks.
Side B plays in almost Excellent condition.Some light background noise from storage. Labels are clean and complete. With small sticker.
-ODX 123 Side A plays in solid VG. Vinyl has a small light mark on "Fuga" and a light surface scratch on "Allegro Assai". Some light background noise from storage. Side B plays in solid VG. Vinyl has some surface scratches on "Courante", "Sarabande" and "Gigue"
Labels are clean and complete. With small sticker.
-ODX 124 Side A plays in VG condition. Vinyl has 2 mm scratch at the end of "Fuga"; one scratch on "Largo"; one scratch on "Allegro"
Side B plays in VG+ condition. With some light background noise.
Labels are clean and complete. With small sticker.
Boxset sleeve is in solid VG condition. Slightly worn. Aged. Shelfwear. Small damaged on right hand side spine. Signature is fainted.
