Auction is for a RARE ORIGINAL CANADIAN-ONLY PRIVATE PRESSING of HENRI PIERRE NOEL'S "PIANO" LP from 197? on Private Label. Very rare, elusive & sought-after Canadian Afro Disco Funk (!) of the highest order... Unbelievable grooves sure to get any dancefloor moving! This is, imo, the best of the two releases from Noel and by far the rarest no question! The track "SIMBI" was comped some time back by Kon & Amir but for me the real killer here is "DISKETTE", a stunning blend of disco-funk with afro rhythms. One of the top private releases out of Montreal this just hardly comes up for sale anymore especially in such top shape! This was a sealed copy that was only opened to be signed by the man himself, his signature is on the record label and front cover at bottom right corner (see photo)... cover still in original shrink... Vinyl is absolutely flawless... Impossible to upgrade... TOP COPY!
