Here is a really superb copy of this Northern Soul favourite.
Released in 1964, the ‘A’ side was her cover of The Miracles ‘Shop Around’. The ‘B’ side is ‘He Knows How To Love Me’.
The single was not a success, so relatively few copies were sold and, consequently, this is quite rare.
Copies of this single are generally sold by dealers for around £225 - £250. A copy, in lesser condition than this one, sold on ebay last November for £250.
This particular copy is in excellent, near mint condition. There is one spindle mark on the B side which suggests the A side has had limited play (just once?). There is the faintest paper scuff just visible on the B side. Otherwise, a really excellent, hardly played copy, still in its original Columbia paper sleeve.

Record Collector Grading System:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
