Hellen Merrill- S/T. LP MONO EMARCY RECORDS 1955 DRUMMER LABEL, BLUE BACK COVER, ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING... RARE ...VG+ THIS IS CLIFFORD BROWNS FORST RECORDING CLASSIC GRAIL OF JAZZ, HIGHLY SOUGHT AFTER ESPECIALLY THE FIRST PRESSING WITH THE BLUE BACK WHICH THIS IS. I rated this album using the Goldmine standards for rating albums. The record is in VG+ condition. The record is still very glossy and there is only one tiny little (what looks like a) pin puncture that you can actually feel and this does not cause any sound. There is some hazy looking places as well as some minor warping that does not affect the sound at all. I have listen to both sides of the album from start to finish. There is some surface noise but it does not take away from the clarity of the music. The cover is in VG+ condition. It has a small split on the bottom left hand corner and a larger on at the top right hand corner. The front artwork is in EX condition and the back is as well accept for some mottled yellowing. The is a name on the back at the top and an one on the front at the bottom that is not very noticeable.
