Description
This is the first release of Heart's album Magazine that was released without the authorization of the band due to a contract dispute. The cover contains the disclaimer "Mushroom Records regrets that a contractual dispute has made it necessary to complete this record without the cooperation or endorsement of the group Heart, who have expressly disclaimed artistic involvement in completing this record." The second side includes two live recordings that were used to fill out the album. Both the cover and the record label carry the SPARTY 1024 album number.
The record plays very well, with minimal crackles and pops - mostly at the beginning of each side. There are no skips. The cover shows minor edgewear and corner bumping. This comes from a smoke-free home collection.
