Description

Brief Encounter (Gravel Productions, US 1975) Cover: VG- (heavy ring wear, rough seams) Record: VG (metal acetate, multiple scuffs and some scratches that can not be felt with my finger) Rare one of a kind, privately pressed metal acetate out of the Northwest back in 1975. A fairly strange album that I can attempt to describe as being a mix of downer singer/songwriter folk and folk psych with loner, acid leanings and some deep, trippy lyrics. Check out the track below to get and idea. The cover, which looks to be a cover slick glued to a cardboard sleeve, has some overall wear with the edges of the slick a little frayed but no splits. The metal acetate has scuffs and scratches but all are shallow and can't be felt by touch. It plays a bit crackly in parts but there are no skips or big pops. This also comes with two record labels. Looked high and low for information on this one but can't find anything on the web, so this may be the only one in existence. Good luck!
